American Warrior Initiative (AWI)​

American Warrior Initiative (AWI) is a nonprofit organization backed by Fairway whose mission is to educate, encourage and inspire Americans to give back to our military. A key part of the AWI initiative is the education platform for real estate agents and mortgage professionals. Over the years, AWI has donated thousands of dollars, numerous service dogs and provided support for those in need.

Since 2016, AWI has provided:

  • 152 service dogs
  • 159 veterans have been provided financial assistance, home repairs, small business grants and more


In addition, in 2020 AWI provided:

  • Raised awareness and masks for frontline workers needing supplies to fight the pandemic
  • Gift cards for veterans to assist during the pandemic
  • Food for first responders

Fairway Cares​

Fairway Cares is the charitable arm of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. For over 20 years, Fairway and its over 9,000 nationwide employees have demonstrated a deep care for the communities and people they work with and serve. Through employee referrals, Fairway Cares provides the comfort of a care package or the support of financial assistance.

Since 2017, Fairway Cares has provided:

  • 3,528 care packages
  • 755 approved financial grants


In addition, in 2020 Fairway Cares sent:

  • 400 encouragement packages
  • 200 nutrition bundles
